Updated walk around video & next years schedule

Hey everyone how's it going!

I finally got around to washing the car and made a brief walk around video so you guys can hear and see what the white knights all about... She's still got a ways to go but it's comin... Were planning on mounting the seat last cuz once that's in there's no adjustment.  Cars making funny noises and tranny's slipping super bad but we hope to address all that this week.

Check it out...

I also have done my research and weighed out my options and decided to just wait, save up and get the transmission done right the first time. I sold my go kart yesterday and almost everything else i own to try and get it built and in by Jan. sense the first race is in February. The company that will be building it specializes in automatics so when I get it back it should be able to withstand over 1000+hp and will shift faster then a manual transmission.  I will drop the car off at my sponsors shop and there going to pull the tranny out and send it off for me and once the company receives it they said it should be about a 3-5 day turn around period..

With the new tranny it will come with a shift box so I'm able to manually select my gear shift points at whatever RPM I want with the click of a button.
This will be an ideal setup for road racing and pushing my abilities to the furthest extent, but being that I can't take my hands off the wheel I had to redesign my hand controls to accommodate what I would like them to do.  Iv been taking to a few different machine shops that say theyll be able to help me, and once there done ill be able to use the throttle, shift, brake, and turn, all while my hands are still attached to the wheel.

This is the actual shift box...

They also finally posted next years schedule for NASA so I figured I'd share it and would be more then happy to have you guys come out one day and check it out!

Plans still up in the Air but the car is Getting There!

SPOILERS MOUNTED AND READY TO GO

STOPTECH- CHECK

SAFTEY SPARKS

MEASURE TWICE, DRILL ONCE...

FINISHED PRODUCT

Hey everyone I hope you had a great week and a relaxing weekend!

So we've still been working away trying to get this thing all prepped and ready but for the most part it's coming along pretty good I think, there's still a few more things to do before she hits the track!  Iv been weighing out different options as to what I'm gonna do with my tranny and the solution is still kind of up in there but I'll keep you posted cuz I need to figure that out by this week!

Here are just a few pictures of the progress From last week:

I know I keep promising a video of the car but it's been filthy, I'm gonna try and pay my bro a few bucks today and see if I can get it all polished up and take a video later!

We still have a few minor things to take care of such as;
-Bleed the rear brakes/change pads and rotors

-buy and change power steering pump

-adjust the rear suspension

-finish fabricating the seat mount and mount the seat/harness

-paint mount and harness bar

-and last but not least we need to figure out a game plan for the transmission!

I hope and plan to have everything done by the end of the week and then mostly the car will be towed up to my sponsors at Infineon "Works Motorsports" for the removal/ reinstallation of the new tranny once I get it.  After they get the tranny in they'll actually be able to finally get a nice smooth healthy tune out of the car so that will be exciting to see what numbers the cars actually making on paper.. Right now they estimated it to have about 375hp to all 4 wheels but for the class I'm racing next year I'm shooting for closer to 400..  (which is why my tranny decided to quit on me! Lol to much for it to handle!)

I basically have just the rest of this month to get it all ready for the first race in January! I'm hoping that gives me enough time to find sponsors and complete the car so we shall see what kind of miracles and blessings God has up his sleeve! Lol

I also redrew and modified my hand controls on my computer to retro fit them into my car and with them I'll be able to give it throttle, brake, and shift all with both hands still attached to the wheel.  Im suppose to go talk with a race shop this week who also happens to be an aero space engendering shop as well and see if they might be able to help me out!
Again I appreciate you taking the time to check out my blog and hope everyone has a blessed Sunday!
I'll try and get a video done today if I can talk my bro into washing it! Lol but this week for sure the car should make its full transformation from a daily driver to a championship survivor! Lol

Take it easy friends and Fam!
