Hello everyone welcome to my blog about my 2012 checkered flag ambitions!
As many of you already know ever sense my first day off the track I wasn't gonna stop until I figured out how to get back on it! I'v recently been working on building & setting up a car to race this following season in the NASA ST2 class to work towards my new goal of eventually being the first quadriplegic champion against normal able bodied professional racers. If theres one thing I'v learned, its that the only boundaries were confined by are the ones we create in our own minds, and anything is possible we just need to figure out the technique of what we are trying to accomplish, then practice and apply it! Which is why I continue to challenge myself everyday and question what is really possible because how are we to know what is actually possible if we don't continue to test our own limitations and press realities boundaries.
I'm starting this blog to share my progression throughout the year as well as the problems and triumphs ill be going through while chasing checkerd flag dreams again! I'm still actively seeking sponsors to assist me with offsetting all the cost I will run into this year from car issues to race entry's. I will post pictures, comments and videos as the car build progresses and the season draws closer as well as a list of things still needed. All contributions and donations will be greatly appreciated and be applied directly towards making my championship dreams a reality once again next year.
The series I will be running will hit Laguna Seca Raceway in Monterey Ca., Infineon Raceway in Sonoma Ca., and Thunder Hill Raceway in Willows Ca. License testing for next year is in 2 weeks at Infineon raceway and im hoping to try and make it if i can get my car all completed in time but well see. I will post the schedule for next as soon as I get it and would love to have you come and hangout at my true home, AKA the race track.😃

The total amount I am looking for to help me complete the 2012 racing season is $40,000.
Practice fees:
15 track days = $250 a day / $4,000 a year
20 gallons a practice = $5 a gallon / $200 a race - $2,500 a year
= $7,500 for whole season
Race fees:
10 races total - $500 entry fee each race = $5,000 total for the year
25 gallons of gas a race = $5 a gallon / $250 a race - $2,500 for the year
= $7,500 for whole season
Licensing school: $600
Finishing safety equipping car: $5,000-$10,000
Tires $1,000 per race= $10,000per year. Total amount needed: $40,000
