Hey everyone I hope the start of the new year has been treating you well so far. Sorry to have been lagging on posting the latest update I've just been trying to figure out a new game plan as the season approach's.
We dropped the car off before the end of the year at Borelli Motorsports to start the whole cage fabrication process so from what the car looked like before to now is a little different. Here are a few pictures of the condition we dropped the car off in.
As you can see we put it on a strict no extra bs diet and eliminated everything we don't need in order to get it down to fighting weight.
This is pretty much the majority of the stuff we pulled out of it. We're estimating it to be a total of about 700lbs but we won't actually know for sure until we weigh and corner balance the car.
Things are moving along slowly but surely and all starting to come together before the first race so I'm getting excited! Because of the Holidays tho it kind of messed up the time frame for the cage to be done but the guys are getting it handled. I went up there yesterday to check out the progress on the car and they had just finished taking out all the windows and the rest of the interior to get it ready to throw the cage in this weekend.
They are estimating The car should be done in about a week or two hopefully if all goes as planned. Being that the season is closing in and we still have so much to do, I'm thinking I may just have to hold off on the first race in february to make sure we have the car all done and dialed in for the season. Depending on how long everything takes to finish up I am thinking right after they finish up the cage I am going to take the car down south to get the controls all manufactured and installed. I'm hoping things will come together sooner but as of now I think we are going to make sure the car is completely ready so I'm not dealing with any of the same unreliability issues that I experienced last year.
That is basically the latest as far as how things are progressing, but I should have a new update next week once we go check out how the cage is coming together.
I just want to take the time real fast to thank God for all the blessing he has rained upon me throughout my life and the journey he has accompanied me through to make me the man I am today. I feel unbelievably blessed to be given another opportunity again to live my dreams and show the world what hard work, faith, and determination is capable of.

A huge thank you goes out to D2 Racing for all there continued encouragement and support for this 2013 season! I can't wait to get all equip with their Coilovers and brakes to be able to push myself and the car to its fullest extent.
Thank you to all the guys at VMR racing wheels for jumping on board this year and hooking me up with some quality wheels to go out and race with!
A big Thanks goes out the the guys at HMS Motorsports as well for helping me out with harnesses and all the other safety required items to keep me safe out there.
I'm also proud to be part of the SPY racing team this season and look forward to working with them this 2013 season and representing their company to the best of my ability!
Lastly I just want to send a huge thank you out to everyone that has stood behind me through everything and continues to help encourage me every step of the way! It has been a long and trying journey to say the least, but I can happily say I have finally made it back to the starting line and am now more ready then ever to put the car back on the box where it belongs!
I look forward to an amazing, fun and successful year and can't wait to see what God has in store next! I hope to see you guys at the track sometime this year and wish everyone a blessed and prosperous 2013. I encourage everyone to step out of the box and try something new this year, you just might fall in love with a passion you never knew you had!
